Facebook Data Deletion Policy

Introduction

BP Square, LLC (“BP Square,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to protecting user privacy and providing you with control over your personal data. This Data Deletion Policy (DDP) explains how you can request the deletion of your data from our systems, particularly any data provided to us via Facebook Login for account authentication.

When you use Facebook Login for the CLKSQR learning platform, we only access the information you authorize, which typically includes your name, email address, and Facebook profile ID. We do not access additional personal data from your Facebook account. This policy is part of our commitment to transparency and compliance with Facebook's Platform Terms and applicable privacy regulations.

Facebook Data Deletion Instructions

  1. Log in to your Facebook account (via facebook.com or the Facebook mobile app).
  2. Go to Settings & Privacy, then select Settings.
  3. Open Apps and Websites from the left sidebar (or the menu on mobile).
  4. Find CLKSQR (BP Square) in your list of active apps.
  5. Select Remove to revoke access and delete Facebook-provided data.

Removing the app from your Facebook account immediately revokes our access. Once Facebook sends the removal event, we delete your Facebook-provided data according to this DDP.

How to Request Deletion Directly

In your request, please provide sufficient information to allow us to identify your account, such as the email address associated with your account. We may need to verify your identity before processing your request to protect your data from unauthorized access.

Our Data Deletion Process

Upon receiving and verifying your data deletion request, we will take the following steps:

  • We will acknowledge receipt of your request within 48 hours.
  • We will permanently delete your personal data received from Facebook (including your name, email, and Facebook ID) and any other data associated with your account from the systems we use to operate your account within 30 days. Any information we are legally required to retain will be securely stored and isolated.
  • We will notify you by email once the data deletion process is complete.

Data Retention

In certain limited circumstances, we may be required to retain specific information to comply with legal or regulatory obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements. This retained data is strictly limited to what is necessary for these purposes, such as training completion records or account transaction history.

This information will be securely archived and isolated from our production systems, used only for its intended legal or regulatory purpose, and anonymized where feasible.
